Dear Heart Centered TECH Community, We would like to close the year by sharing a special message with you. Whether you are accustomed to celebrating Christmas, Hannakah, Eid, Kwanzaa, Winter Solstice, or some other holiday, and regardless of your faith or lack thereof, we at Heart Centered TECH hope that you can rejoice and look back at the year with positivity and growth. And in the New Year we hope the lessons of yesteryears can help you find the hope and strength to turn the old to new, and inspire your tomorrows so you can embrace a bright future shining through. Heart Centered TECH reflects back fondly on an eventful 2019, and we have some very exciting developments in our pipeline for 2020, so please stay tuned for future updates and announcements! Thomas Phelps IV is the Vice President of Corporate Strategy & CIO for Laserfiche, a leading global provider of content management and process automation software. At Laserfiche Thomas leads IT, industry marketing, analyst relations and major strategic initiatives. Thomas spearheaded data security and privacy compliance to protect clients and organizations, and he is part of the executive team that launched Laserfiche Cloud in 2015. Prior to Laserfiche, Thomas served as the national entertainment and media champion for cybersecurity at PwC. Thomas is a Past-President of ISACA Los Angeles, and on the 50th Anniversary Governance Panel. He serves on the board of directors for Innovate@UCLA, Southern California, SIM, Advancing Women in Technology and LA Blockchain Lab. Thomas has co-authored and contributed to five books, has guest-lectured at the University of Southern California, and has instructed the Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) Review Course for more than seven years. In addition,Thomas has led various non-profit organizations. He is a founding member and Past-President of Ascend Los Angeles, a leadership development organization. At Ascend Thomas created soft-skills leadership courses, led workshops at the National Convention and mentored four different LA boards over 12 years, and launched student chapters at USC in 2010 and UCLA in 2013.
